While working for the Town of Oakvile, Sheila was seconded to the office of Mayor/CAO to undertake some new corporate communication projects, including implementing a new brand, producing various publications, and the development and production of a ward-specific newsletter.

This important communications piece, sent to every household in Oakville's six wards, was a forum for local and regional councillors to elaborate on projects, news, procedures - anything of concern to constituents of each ward.
